Dear Friends,

Research funding and general understanding increase when we raise awareness and educate the public about what it's like to live with Dravet syndrome.

That's why we recently partnered with Lifetime TV's The Balancing Act to create a special segment focused on Dravet syndrome. "Behind The Mystery of Dravet Syndrome: A Rare Form of Epilepsy" first aired in June, but Lifetime TV is rerunning the segment on Monday, August 22, and Tuesday, August 30, at 7:30 a.m. ET. Additionally, you can also watch the segment on The Balancing Act YouTube channel any time you'd like, so please share the link so more people can learn about Dravet syndrome.

We want to give a special thank you to everyone who helped make this taping possible! It is thanks to the work of all of the participants involved that we can continue to educate others about Dravet syndrome.

Warmly,

Dravet Syndrome Foundation
