Dear Friends,

We know you've probably heard of the traditional ways to give back, such as creating a fundraiser or making a donation directly online. But there are many creative ways to give that you may not have heard of. If hosting an event or posting on Facebook isn't your thing, we've got a lot of other opportunities for you! Instead of an outright cash donation, consider giving through stocks, a living will, cryptocurrency, or your IRA.

With giving season almost upon us, the ways you can give back are endless! Learn more about different ways you can make a difference here.

Thank you,

Dravet Syndrome Foundation

DSF Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month

Hispanic Heritage Month is Sept. 15 - Oct. 15 and this year's theme is Prosperity, Power & Progress. We want to take this time to honor and celebrate our Hispanic community, as well as recognize the many Hispanic individuals impacted by Dravet syndrome. In preparation for this month, we've connected with this community to hear their stories, celebrate their families and recognize the hardships they face.

We encourage you to follow along with us on our social media channels as we share quotes from our Hispanic community throughout the month. If you'd like to share your journey, we encourage you to submit your photos and story here or reach out to our DEI Coordinator, Tatiana Lopez, at Tatiana@dravetfoundation.org.

Heart to Heart

Our September Heart to Heart session is almost here! Join our community for this virtual meeting on Monday, Sept. 25, as we connect for thoughtful and productive discussions.

We offer both daytime and evening sessions. You must register to attend these events but you are welcome to attend both or choose the one that works best for you. Register for the daytime session here or the evening session here.

Day of Dravet

We invite you to join us for a Day of Dravet Workshop near you! This is a time for patients and their families to come together to learn about research and treatment, connect with one another, and be a part of a DSF’s shared vision for a better outcome for those affected by Dravet syndrome.

Workshops will be held in various locations across the United States. See which workshop is closest to you here.

Dance for Dravet
